A calmer start to the day

Guided breathing and quiet meditation to help you shift out of rush mode before the day begins.

Feeling at home in your body

Very simple, introductory poses used to sense the body from the inside, not to stretch further or burn calories.

Tools you can take with you

Small practices for settling your nervous system that you can return to anywhere: in the car, at your desk, before sleep.

The heart of yoga

Short reflections on yoga's meditative roots and on healing through the body, in plain language.

Who it's for

Made for beginners and busy minds.

This is for you if…

  • you're new to yoga or meditation, or returning after a long break
  • you carry stress in your body and want a gentler way through the day
  • you're curious about the mind–body connection and nervous-system healing
  • you'd like a quiet, steady morning ritual with kind company

It's probably not for you if…

  • you're looking for a fitness workout or a power-yoga class
  • you want advanced poses or flexibility training

This class is a gentle, educational practice. It isn't therapy or medical care.

Your guide

Hi, I'm Carol.

I'm a yoga teacher and integrative psychoeducator coach with a master's degree in education. My real passion is healing: how the body holds what we've been through, and how gently it can learn to let go.

I'm inspired by the work of Gabor Maté and Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing, and I bring that curiosity to every class. We focus less on fitness and more on what yoga does inside us: helping the body feel safe enough to settle.

“When you choose to heal yourself, you actively choose to heal the generations after you.”
A. Elle

Questions

Good to know

Is it really free?

Yes. The class is free, every day, for anyone. There's nothing to buy.

I've never done yoga. Is that OK?

Absolutely. The poses are very introductory and most of the hour is breathing and meditation. You don't need to be flexible or fit.

Do I have to come every day?

No. Come whenever it suits you. One sign-up gives you the link for every morning.

What do I need?

A quiet spot, a device with Zoom, and somewhere comfortable to sit or lie down: a mat, a rug, a cushion or a chair all work.

What time is it where I live?

Class starts at 8:00 AM US Central time. The calendar invite will show it in your own time zone automatically.

Is this therapy?

No. It's a gentle, educational yoga and meditation practice inspired by somatic approaches to healing. It isn't a substitute for therapy or medical care. Please move only in ways that feel comfortable.

Tomorrow at 8:00 AM Central, there's a spot for you.

Free, gentle, and only an hour. Your body will thank you.
